Updated over 3 months ago

1. Go to Control Panel > Workflows

  • Navigate to the Workflows section from the main dashboard

  • Click Create Workflow

2. Choose Alert as the Workflow Type

  • Select the Alert option

3. Define the Sentiment Criteria

  • Choose either:

    • Sentiment is Negative

    • Sentiment is Positive

  • 💡 Create separate workflows for negative and positive alerts

4. Set Scope: “Any Individual Post”

  • Under Post ID or URL, select Any individual post

  • This ensures the workflow evaluates sentiment per post, not across all posts

5. Set the Comment Volume Threshold

  • Define the volume that counts as a spike for your brand

  • Example:

    • “More than 20 negative comments within 1 hour”

    • “More than 50 positive comments within 2 hours”

📌 Choose time window based on how fast your team needs to act

6. Add Action(s)

Choose what happens when the threshold is hit:

  • Send alert to Slack or email

  • Tag post or comments for visibility

  • Trigger another workflow (e.g., pause ad, escalate to team)

7. Name & Activate the Workflow

  • Use a clear name like:
Negative Sentiment Spike – Any Post (20/hr)

  • Review logic and click Create Workflow
