Automating Replies for Textless Reviews (coming soon)

Use this workflow to automatically respond to reviews with no written text — ideal for fast acknowledgments on high volumes of 4–5 star ratings.

Overview

Where to set this up:
Control Panel > Workflows > New Reply Workflow > Saved Replies


Step-by-Step Setup

1. Select platform and assets

Select the social profiles and assets where you want this automation to run.

  • Recommended: Start with platforms where blank reviews are most common (e.g., Apple Store, Google Play).


2. Select a message type

Configure the workflow to apply to Review messages.


3. Set automation triggers

Filter 1: Keywords

  • Use the NOTHING boolean to target reviews with no text.

  • Type / in the keyword field to access boolean filters.

  • Select NOTHING to trigger only when the message body is blank.

📌 Note: This ensures the automation only replies to rating-only reviews (e.g., "5 stars" with no comment).

Filter 2: Review Rating

  • Select the review star ratings you want to automate.

  • Common use case: 4 and 5 stars for positive sentiment auto-replies.


4. Edit Exclusions

Make sure no exclusions (e.g., sentiment, keywords, etc.) that can collide with the reply workflow are active — unless your strategy requires them.


5. Choose an Action: Reply Automatically

Set the action to Reply Automatically for fully hands-free operation.

  • This will send your selected saved reply without manual review.


6. Select a Saved Reply

Choose a saved reply from your library that fits the tone and purpose (e.g., “Thanks for your review!”).

📌 Requirement: Your saved reply must have at least 20 variations to be eligible for automated replies. This is to prevent replies from sounding robotic and repetive. You can use AI to generate 20 variations in one click when editing your saved reply.
