Page request limit reached

Recommendation:
This occurs when the Page reaches its API call limit, which is based on daily active people (DAP). Wait for the Page to be unlocked by Facebook before attempting to publish again.

Improperly formatted URL

This error often occurs due to an improperly formatted URL. Check the URL in your post and correct any formatting issues before retrying.

Issue with posts' content

Invalid parameter (code 100, subcode 1349125)

Recommendation:
This error suggests an issue with the post's content, such as missing text, oversized images, or an invalid URL. Review the post for issues, make corrections, and try publishing again.

Spammy behavior

It looks like you were misusing this feature by going too fast. You've been blocked from using it. Learn more about blocks in the Help Center. (code 368, subcode 1390008)

Recommendation:
This happens when a Page posts too frequently or shares content considered "spammy." Avoid publishing repetitive or spam-like content to prevent this error.

Your content couldn't be shared because it includes reported abusive content

Your message couldn't be sent because it includes content that other people on Facebook have reported as abusive. (code 368, subcode 1346003)

Recommendation:
The content has been flagged as abusive by Facebook users. Avoid publishing content that violates Facebook’s guidelines.

Post is too complex

Please reduce the amount of data you're asking for, then retry your request (code 1, subcode null)

Recommendation:
For less active Pages, this can occur when trying to publish complex posts with multiple elements (text, image, link, mentions). Simplify the post by removing mentions, links, or images, then try again.

An unexpected error has occurred

An unexpected error has occurred. Please retry your request later. (code 2, subcode null)

Recommendation:
This could be a temporary error. Check if the post was published despite the error. If not, schedule and attempt to post again later.

Service temporarily unavailable

Service temporarily unavailable (code 2, subcode 1363047)

Recommendation:
This error indicates temporary unavailability in the Facebook API. Check if the post was published, and if not, try again after some time.

Permissions error for facebook.com links

Recommendation:
Avoid including facebook.com links in your post (e.g., links to other posts or videos). For more details, see Facebook’s guidance on this topic.

Recommendation:
This happens when Facebook flags your account. To resolve:

  1. Clear your browser cache and cookies.
