Set Up Email Alerts for Comment Assignments

Get notified instantly via email when a comment gets assigned to you—so nothing slips through the cracks.

🔧 How to Set It Up

Follow these steps in the Control Panel > Workflows section:

1. Create a New Alert Workflow

  • Click “+ New Workflow” under the Workflows tab.

  • Give it a clear name like “New Comment Assigned to Me” so it's easily searchable.

2. Set the Trigger: Comments / Messages > Assigned To

  • In the Trigger section, choose:
    Filter by: Assigned To
    Value: Your name

💡 This ensures the alert only fires when you're the one assigned.

3. Configure the Threshold

  • Frequency:

    • Choose “Every time I receive 1 new conversation” to get alerts for every assignment

    • Or, set a Within a specific threshold (e.g., “every 5 comments”) to reduce noise

3. Configure the Action

  • Subscribers: Add your own email

4. Save and Activate

  • Hit Save Workflow


📌 Notes

  • You’ll still receive in-app notifications even if email is off.
