Add Post Tags for Smarter Campaign Tracking and Comment Analysis

Use Post Tags to organize content and filter comments by campaign, theme, or initiative β€” without tracking post IDs manually.

Updated over 4 months ago

πŸ’‘ Why Use Post Tags

Post Tags let you:

  • Group posts under campaign or content themes

  • Filter comments based on those groupings

  • Analyze performance across multiple related posts (e.g., for product launches or seasonal pushes)

πŸ“Œ Ideal for brands running multi-post campaigns or teams needing clean segmentation across markets or messages.

Where to Add Post Tags

You can tag posts in three places, depending on your workflow:

1. During Post Creation (Publish Section)

Set tags proactively before a post goes live.

  • Helps with scheduled content: tag once and track later

  • Avoids hunting for post IDs after the fact

2. From the Comments Feed

Click "See Post" under any comment and add a tag directly.

  • Fast and reactive tagging

  • Useful when spotting trends in live interactions

3. Inside the Posts Tab

Tag posts directly under their captions in the Posts view.

  • Great for organizing past content in bulk

  • Enables easy tagging for ongoing campaigns

How to Use Post Tags for Filtering

Once your tags are in place, use the "Post Tags" filter on the sidebar to:

  • Narrow your comment view to posts with specific tags

  • Compare sentiment, volume, or topics across tagged posts

  • Export comment data tied to specific campaigns or regions

⚠️ Limits and Best Practices

  • Max 500 posts per Post Tag: Filtering will only return comments from the 500 most recent posts tied to a tag.

  • We recommend using specific, campaign-based tags (e.g., Launch_March25, UGC_April) to keep tag usage focused and functional.

Example Use Cases

  • New Product Launch: Tag all posts announcing a product to later assess feedback in one place.

  • Regional Campaigns: Tag posts by market (e.g., LATAM2025, NordicsQ2) to separate engagement insights.

  • UGC Highlights: Tag influencer or creator reposts to analyze performance as a group.
