Reconnect Expired or Expiring Assets

Maintain uninterrupted monitoring by keeping your asset connections up to date.


🔄 Why reconnection is needed

BrandBastion uses access tokens to securely connect to your social profiles and ad accounts. These tokens can expire or become invalid if:

  • The token expires (e.g., after 60 days)

  • Your social account password changes

  • The user who connected the asset loses access

📌 Note: You won’t lose historical data—but BrandBastion can’t monitor or moderate expired assets until they’re reconnected.


🔎 Check which assets need reconnection

  1. Navigate to My Account > Assets

  2. Check the Status column:

    • Red = Expired (requires immediate reconnection)

    • Yellow = About to expire (reconnect soon)


🔐 How to reconnect an asset

  1. Click Reconnect next to the expired or expiring asset

  2. Log in with your credentials for that platform

  3. Authorize access to refresh the connection

💡 Tip: If multiple assets are managed by one person, ensure they still have the necessary platform permissions before reconnecting.
