Filter conversations by triggered workflow

Find conversations affected by specific workflows so you can audit automations, investigate outcomes, and review workflow-driven activity faster.

Filter by workflow activity

Use the Workflow Triggered filter to find conversations where one or more workflows completed successfully.

You can filter by workflows that perform actions such as:

  • Change sentiment

  • Add tags

  • Tag posts

  • Hide

  • Send alerts

  • Reply

  • Like

  • Archive

  • Assign

  • Create Zendesk tickets

  • Create Salesforce cases

The filter is available under Platform activity.

Find the workflows you need

Workflows are grouped by workflow type to make large automation setups easier to navigate.

You can:

  • Search by workflow name or type

  • Expand or collapse workflow types

  • Select an individual workflow

  • Select all workflows within a type

  • Combine workflows across multiple types

Only workflows you have access to are shown.

Include or exclude workflows

Each selected workflow can be either included or excluded.

Include workflows when you want to find conversations where at least one selected workflow was triggered.

Exclude workflows when you want to remove conversations affected by a particular automation.

This makes it easier to isolate specific workflow behavior without restructuring your existing filters.

Deleted and inactive workflows

Inactive or deleted workflows may still appear when they are needed to filter previously processed conversations.

They are clearly identified so you can distinguish them from workflows that are currently active.

📌 Note: Workflow-trigger filtering only applies to activity captured after this capability became available in September 2026. It does not retroactively apply to older workflow activity.
