API Limitations You Need to Know
Be aware of these Instagram API rules when using hashtag listening:
30 unique hashtags max per Instagram Business account over a rolling 7-day period.
Re-querying the same hashtag within 7 days does not count against your limit, but it also does not reset the 7-day window.
Hashtagged Stories are not supported.
Commenting on hashtag-discovered media objects via the API is not allowed.
Emojis in hashtag queries are not supported.
Sensitive or offensive hashtags may cause a generic API error response.
