10x Larger comment sample for Astra insights

Description
We’ve expanded Astra’s sample size from 200 to 2,000 comments, giving you significantly more accurate and representative insights. This enhancement allows Astra to detect key topics, and emerging themes with greater confidence—especially useful for high-volume accounts or major campaign launches.

Use cases

  • More accurate campaign reporting: Spot trending themes and dominant sentiment across a much larger data set.

  • Better decision-making: Rely on insights that reflect a more comprehensive view of user reactions.

  • Support high-volume brands: Analyze thousands of comments without losing important nuance or edge cases.

Listen to Instagram Media tags

Track and monitor user-generated content with the new ability to listen to Instagram media tags. When someone tags your brand in a post, you'll be able to incorporate it into your social listening efforts. This feature ensures you stay informed about your brand mentions on Instagram.

Use cases:

  • Discover UGC: Identify and track posts where users tag your brand.

  • Monitor brand presence: Gain visibility into how your brand is being showcased on Instagram.

  • Inspire campaigns: Use tagged posts as inspiration for content or marketing campaigns.

Get comment likes for Facebook

You can view like ranges directly on each comment across Facebook. This makes it easy to prioritize high-engagement comments and spot potential virality or frustration signals.

Use cases:

  • Spot viral engagement: Quickly identify high-performing comments with 500+ likes

  • Prioritize replies: Focus on responding to comments with the most traction

  • Track negative sentiment impact: Monitor how many likes complaints or concerns are getting

Increase the limit for comment export & include usernames

You can export a larger volume of comments from your BrandBastion platform, and each export includes usernames and custom tags for added context. This improvement helps you conduct deeper analysis, especially when tracking user behavior, identifying trends, or sharing insights with other teams.

Use cases:

  • Campaign reporting: Export large batches of comments with usernames for internal or client-facing reporting.

  • Influencer or user tracking: Easily identify repeat commenters or brand advocates.

  • Deeper sentiment analysis: Analyze comment patterns tied to specific users.

Filters in Publish view

You can filter your content calendar by platform, asset type, post type, publishing status, tags, and keywords. This makes it easier to quickly find what you’re looking for—whether you're checking what's going out on Instagram or tracking all posts tagged as Promotions.

Use cases

  • Focus only on Instagram content during content reviews

  • Filter by TikTok to ensure all campaigns have been scheduled

  • Quickly find all posts tagged as Promotions or Giveaways

  • Identify drafts vs. published posts for final reviews

Show Triggers in Workflow Table

We've added a new column to the workflow table that displays filters and exclusions used in each automation. Instead of clicking into each workflow, you can now quickly see what conditions are driving the workflow—saving time and helping you audit or adjust your strategy faster.

Use cases:

  • Audit workflow logic easily: Instantly view what tags and filters are being used without opening each workflow

  • Spot inconsistencies or gaps: Compare workflows side by side to ensure consistent rules

  • Speed up optimization: Quickly find workflows with missing or overly strict filters

Auto-unhide Hidden Comments based on Updated Filters

You can now automatically unhide comments that no longer match your Hide workflow filters. This ensures your moderation adapts in real-time to changes—only comments that currently meet your criteria stay hidden, while the rest resurface automatically.

Use cases

  • Tag-based moderation cleanup: Unhide comments if the triggering tag is removed manually or by automation

  • Evolving sentiment tagging: Automatically resurface comments that were previously flagged but are now reclassified

  • Avoid over-hiding: Keep the experience transparent by unhiding comments no longer relevant to your filters.

How it works

  • When this checkbox is enabled, the system checks if previously hidden comments still match your criteria (keywords, sentiment, time, etc.).

  • If a comment no longer matches, it will be unhidden automatically—no manual action required.

  • The workflow must be active for the auto-unhide logic to apply.

  • Comments hidden manually or by external tools are not affected.

Smarter AI suggestions based on message type and platform

Our AI-generated reply suggestions are now more context-aware than ever. Instead of only analyzing the message content, the system also considers where the message appeared (e.g., owned channel vs. hashtag mention) and what type it is (comment, DM, post mention, etc.). This results in more accurate and relevant suggestions tailored to how your brand should respond in each context.

Plus, even when platform APIs don't allow direct replies (e.g., Instagram hashtag monitoring), you'll still be able to generate smart suggestions for easy copy-paste responses:

Use cases > improve tone and relevance:

  • Reply to an Instagram comment on your ad differently from a post tagging you.

  • Get tailored suggestions for mentions in post captions vs. reply threads.

  • Use the suggestion even for channels where replies aren't natively supported.

Other improvements as part of this update:

  • You can now add additional details up to 1,500 characters instead of just 150

  • Even when platform APIs don't allow direct replies (e.g., Instagram hashtag monitoring), you'll still be able to generate smart suggestions for easy copy-paste responses.

  • Visual refresh of the AI prompts configuration

Instagram Story Metrics

You can now view key metrics for Instagram Stories directly in the BrandBastion platform. This includes views, replies, link clicks, and profile actions—so you can understand how stories are driving engagement and traffic. Whether you're tracking product launches or influencer campaigns, story-level insights help you gauge real-time impact and optimize future content.

Use cases:
Measure real-time impact of ephemeral content:

  • Track performance of story-based campaigns

  • Understand what drives swipe-ups and replies

  • Report on story reach and engagement for internal teams or clients

Note: These metrics become available after a story expires (24 hours post-publication), and will only be returned if the metric is higher than 5.

Instagram Caption Mention Metrics

For Instagram, you’ll be able to track comments and like count (unless likes are hidden by the user). Mention data will be fetched once, 24 hours after the post is crawled.

Post AI filters & triggers for smarter tagging

You can now filter and tag posts based on AI-powered analysis directly from the platform. In the Posts tab, use new filters to surface posts by text in creative (OCR), audio transcript keywords, description/caption keywords, or even intention-related keywords. These same inputs are available under Post Tag Workflows, allowing you to create tagging rules based on the creative content itself—not just engagement or mentions.

Use cases:
Content detection and automation:

  • Automatically tag posts that visually or verbally mention a specific product (e.g., “lipstick”).

  • Set workflows to label demo-style videos vs. influencer reviews.

  • Use intention-based tagging to track posts focused on product use vs. lifestyle branding.

LinkedIn Mentions & Shares Coverage

We capture LinkedIn posts where your brand is mentioned (tagged with @YourBrand) and shared (when users share your original content).

Use cases:

  • Monitor earned media on LinkedIn: See when influencers, employees or customers mention or share your brand.

  • Boost community engagement: Reply to users who share your posts or tag you organically.

  • Improve reporting accuracy: Understand the full picture of brand visibility on LinkedIn.

Choose your preferred LinkedIn reply profile

You can now choose which LinkedIn account to use when replying to comments or messages. If you manage multiple LinkedIn profiles, you can select the right one each time you respond—or define a default for each asset to streamline your workflow.

Use cases:
Managing multiple brand pages: Easily respond from the right account without switching tools.
Agency workflows: Set default reply profiles per client or campaign to avoid mistakes.
Better team collaboration: Reduce confusion about which profile is active when handling replies.

Visual update to Astra and AI Highlights

We’re refreshing the Astra interface to make it cleaner and more intuitive! No changes to functionality — just a sleeker, more polished experience.
