October 2026 (Coming Soon) - Release Notes

Build smarter, multi-step reply workflows

Create sophisticated reply automations faster with pre-built templates, a visual workflow preview, and follow-ups that respond to what happens next. Start with recommended settings, review the complete journey before activating it, and build multi-step conversations that adapt based on whether and how someone replies.

a) Reply templates

Choose a template that matches what you want to automate, with the main settings already pre-filled. Templates include Ready to send, Comment to DM automation, Reply automatically, DM Chatbot, Customer feedback, and Custom workflow. Comment to DM automations also include more specific starting points for sending a link or offer, capturing emails, or building your own flow.

b) Preview for reply workflows

See the entire conversation flow in a visual preview as you build it, including the initial reply, follow-up messages, delays, conditions, and branches. This makes it easier to understand what each person will receive and check every possible path before activating the workflow.

c) Follow up based on their reply

Create branches that send different follow-up messages depending on what the person says. Define the words or phrases associated with each branch, and BrandBastion sends the appropriate next message when their response matches.

Threads ads comment management

Manage comments on Threads ads directly in BrandBastion. Comments posted directly on ad media can now be collected in the Inbox, moderated through hiding, and replied to alongside conversations from your other supported channels.

Use cases:

  • Monitor and respond to comments across Threads ad campaigns

  • Hide spam, abuse, scams, and other unwanted comments

  • Keep paid social engagement and moderation in one workflow

Note: Meta currently supports only direct replies to ad media. Nested replies to comments are not available due to API limitations.

User groups

Organize users into reusable groups so teams can be managed together across BrandBastion. Groups can be used for assignments, filters, approvals, workflows, reporting, and visibility, with the option to also manage permissions at group level. Users can belong to multiple groups, and when multiple permission-enabled groups apply, their access is combined using the most permissive permissions.

Use cases:

  • Create groups such as Moderation, Customer Care, or Content & Publishing and assign the whole team at once

  • Manage permissions centrally for teams instead of updating users individually

  • Use groups in filters, workflows, approvals, assignments, and reporting

Where to find it:
Go to Company settings → Users & Groups to create and manage groups. Once created, groups also appear alongside individual users in supported user selectors across BrandBastion, including Assigned to, Saved filters, Activity, Agent activity, Workflows, Approvals, and Assign to.

Ready to send: more reply types, fewer extra steps

Ready to send now supports more ways to handle approved and pending replies.

  • Edit replies directly:
Pending replies are now editable inline, so users can make changes immediately without opening a separate Edit action.

  • Public and private replies: For Facebook and Instagram comments where both options are supported, Ready to send can now generate both public and private replies.

  • Copy & go for non-repliable conversations: When BrandBastion cannot send the reply directly due to API limitations (such as for Instagram hashtag mentions, media tags, X keyword mentions), users can use Copy & go to post to copy the prepared reply and open the original content to respond natively.

Use cases:

  • Quickly edit an AI reply directly before sending it

  • Send the right combination of public and private replies from Facebook and Instagram workflows

  • Use prepared replies for non-repliable conversations without manually recreating the response

Approval, edit & reject rates per reply workflow

See which AI prompts and saved replies are performing well and which need refinement. Workflow-level reporting now shows how often each workflow is used, plus its approval, edit, and reject rates, making it easier to identify strong workflows that may be ready for more automation and underperforming ones that need tuning.

Use cases:

  • Identify AI prompts or saved replies with high edit or reject rates that should be refined

  • Find consistently high-performing workflows that may be good candidates for increased automation

  • Compare workflow performance over time and see whether changes are improving approval rates

Competitor Benchmarking (Beta)

See how your brand compares with key competitors across Instagram and X. This first Beta version brings competitor setup, profile-level performance metrics and X Share of Voice into one view, with more benchmarking capabilities coming later.

Add competitors to listen to

Create your brand and competitor groups, then connect the sources you want to monitor. Add Instagram profiles to compare public profile performance and X volume queries to track conversations about each brand.

Metrics breakdown per asset

Compare your brand and competitors side by side. For Instagram, view followers, published posts, engagement rate, likes, comments and views. For X, compare followers and publishing volume. Percentage changes show how each metric performed against the previous equivalent period.

Post metrics update daily for 30 days after publishing. After that, the most recent values remain available. Metrics that are not supported by a platform appear as Not available.

Share of Voice for X keywords

Understand which brands generate the largest share of relevant conversation on X. Compare total mentions and Share of Voice for the keywords and queries associated with each brand, then use the volume-over-time chart to identify changes and conversation spikes.

Use cases:

  • Benchmark your social performance against key competitors

  • Track changes in audience size, publishing activity and Instagram engagement

  • Compare brand conversation volume and Share of Voice on X

Where to find it:

Open Social Landscape → Competitors, then select Manage brands & competitors to add your brand and competitors. Add an Instagram username for profile benchmarking and associate an X volume query with each brand you want to include in Share of Voice reporting.

Use saved filters to select publishing accounts

You can now use your existing saved filters when choosing which accounts to publish to. Select a saved filter and BrandBastion will automatically select all eligible publishing accounts included in it, making it much faster to prepare posts across larger groups of accounts.
The Accounts dropdown also now loads up to 200 publishing accounts immediately, so you can browse and select accounts without needing to search first.

Use cases:

  • Quickly publish to a predefined group of accounts, such as all accounts for a market, brand or team

  • Reuse the same account selections across recurring publishing workflows

  • Browse and manually select from larger account lists without relying on search

Choose custom thumbnails for TikTok and Facebook videos

You can now control the thumbnail shown before your video plays when publishing to TikTok or Facebook. For TikTok videos, upload an image or choose a frame directly from the video. For Facebook videos, upload a custom cover image.

Use cases:

  • Choose a TikTok frame that best represents the video

  • Upload a branded or designed thumbnail for Facebook videos

  • Keep video posts visually consistent across your social profiles

Where to find it:
When creating or editing a TikTok or Facebook video post in Publish. TikTok lets you select a frame from the video or upload an image, while Facebook lets you upload a cover image.

Scroll through carousel post previews

Post previews are now scrollable when scheduling a carousel, so you can review every image or video in the post instead of seeing only the first one.

Use cases:

  • Check that all carousel assets are included and in the correct order

  • Review the complete post before scheduling or publishing

Where to find it:

Go to Publish, create or edit a carousel post, and scroll through the assets in the post preview.

Add dates to draft posts

Assign a date and time to a post while keeping it in draft. The draft will appear in the Publishing calendar, making it easy to reserve content slots and plan your schedule before the post is ready to publish.

Use cases:

  • Block out dates and times for planned content

  • Build a content calendar before posts are finalized

  • Avoid scheduling multiple posts in the same slot

Where to find it:

Go to Publish, create or edit a post, select a date and time, then save it as a draft.
