How to Use Post-Aware Replies

Post-aware replies use AI to analyze the post itself — captions, hashtags, and even creative text — so your replies are always grounded in context.

Why This Matters

Without post analysis, AI relies only on the comment. That makes open-ended questions like “What is this?” hard to answer. With post-aware replies enabled, AI can read the post details (caption + creative) and generate a precise, relevant reply.

👉 Example:

How to Enable Post-Aware Replies

  1. Go to Control Panel > Engage Library > AI Prompts.

  2. Open any prompt.

  3. Scroll to AI Skills.

  4. Toggle on Use AI post analysis as context to improve replies.

  • For new prompts, this setting is on by default.

Best Use Cases

  • Product launches: Replies can reference the product name directly from the caption.

  • Creative campaigns: AI can recognize slogans or taglines in the creative.

  • Open-ended comments: Works especially well when customers say things like “What’s this?” or “Tell me more.”

Things to Know

  • Doesn’t apply to dynamic ads: Post analysis can’t be used when the creative changes dynamically.

  • Mentions may have limited data: Some platforms don’t return media assets for mentions. In these cases, analysis may be limited to the caption only.

  • Works best with descriptive posts: Short or vague captions limit what the AI can use. Pair with Knowledge grounding for best results.

💡 Tip: Always keep this toggle on. It’s one of the fastest ways to make AI replies feel natural and context-aware.
