When to Use This

Use this alert to:

  • Respond fast to changes in customer sentiment

  • Track score increases after support resolutions

  • Flag rating drops before they impact KPIs

  • Detect unusual spikes in review updates over time

How to Set It Up

1. Go to Workflows

From the main dashboard, navigate to:
Control Panel > Workflows > New Alert Workflow

2. Add a Filter: Review Updated Status

Find the filter labeled:
Review Updated Status

You’ll see these options:

  • Not updated – original review, no changes

  • Updated → Expand to see:

    • Score increased

    • Score unchanged

    • Score decreased

Pick one or more to trigger alerts when:

  • A review was edited (any type of update)

  • A review’s score increased (positive signal)

  • A review’s score decreased (potential issue)

3. Choose your Thresholds

Decide how often you want to be notified:

A. Absolute Volume Threshold

Use this to trigger alerts when review updates reach a fixed count:

When I receive at least [X] conversations within [Y time window]

Example:
Get an alert when 5 reviews with score decreases come in within 1 hour.

B. Relative % Growth Threshold

Use this to track spikes compared to typical volume:

Alert me when there's a 30%+ increase in updated reviews over the usual pattern.

This helps detect volume surges — like after a product launch or social backlash — without needing to set arbitrary volume numbers.

💡 Tip: Relative growth is ideal for brands with fluctuating review volume.

C. Real-Time Trigger

If you want alerts for every single matching review, toggle:
“Every time I receive 1 new conversation”
