This checklist walks you through the core setup required to start monitoring, replying, and publishing with AI. It’s built for Essentials clients managing onboarding themselves.

🔧 Set Up the Basics
✅ Connect All Available Assets
Ensure BrandBastion is actively monitoring everything that matters.
Go to Asset Management
Add all available assets (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
For each asset:
Click Edit
Toggle ON for Comments, Mentions, and DMs
💡 Double-check your ad account connection to ensure full paid comment coverage.
✅ Create a Prompt for Replies
Guide AI-generated responses to reflect your brand tone and rules.
Open the Inbox
Click on any comment or message
In the reply modal:
Click the arrow next to Generate
Select Create new prompt
Add details like:
Brand tone (e.g., witty, warm, professional)
Phrasing rules, disclaimers, emojis (if applicable)
Set the new prompt as default
✅ Create a Prompt for Captions
Train AI to generate on-brand content.
Go to Publish
Start a new post
In the caption field, type 3+ characters
Click the arrow next to Generate → Create new prompt
Add tone, structure rules, brand words, do’s/don’ts
Set as default prompt

Let your team collaborate across moderation, replies, and publishing.
Go to User Management
Add users by email
Assign roles (Admin, Editor, Viewer)
✅ Customize Your Brand’s Logo (Optional)
This logo appears at the top of the platform and when exporting reports.
Go to Company Settings
Upload a square image (1:1)
Easiest option: download your Facebook profile photo
🛡️ Improve Moderation
✅ Enable AI Auto-Hiding (with brand approval)
In Inbox Settings, toggle on categories like Spam or Hate Speech
Only enable categories relevant to your brand
If accuracy looks off:
Hover over flagged comments to see why they were hidden
Disable specific tags like “Against Brand” if overhiding

Go to Workflows
Create a Moderation workflow
Use brand-specific keywords, campaign terms, or sensitive triggers
Scope it to relevant assets or date ranges
Use this when AI categories don’t fully cover moderation needs.

Review results carefully — these are suggestions, not final drafts.

In Saved Replies, create replies manually or using AI
For each response:
Generate ~20 variations
Tag with relevant context (e.g., “FAQ,” “Where to buy?”)
Link replies to tags via autotag workflows

When a comment is tagged and matches a saved reply, it appears as a one-click response.
