How to Monitor Specific Ads and Posts

Narrow monitoring by campaign URL identifiers or caption keywords so BrandBastion only crawls comments you care about.

Updated over 3 months ago

When to Use This

Use this workflow when you need to:

  • Monitor one paid campaign without pulling comments from other spend.

  • Track only partnership content where the influencer includes a required hashtag or handle.

  • Keep always-on assets connected, but limit comment crawling to in-scope creatives.

What You Can Filter

BrandBastion supports the same optional filters for:

  • Owned assets

  • Influencer assets

Optional filters:

  • Destination link contains (supports All)

  • Caption contains (supports All)

πŸ“Œ Note - If a filter is set to All, BrandBastion does not narrow monitoring by that field.

How the Filters Work

Destination link contains

When configured, BrandBastion only crawls ads where the destination URL contains at least one of your configured words.

Examples of values:

  • promo2561

  • utm_campaign=spring_sale

  • /collections/new-arrivals

Caption contains

When configured, BrandBastion only crawls posts and ads where the caption contains at least one of your configured words.

Examples of values:

  • #yourbrand

  • @yourbrand

  • partnerdrop

Setup

1) Open the asset you want to narrow

  • Go to Assets

  • Choose Owned assets or Influencer assets

  • Select the asset, then click the three dots and then Edit

2) Find Optional filters

In the asset settings modal, scroll to Optional filters.

You will see:

  • Destination link contains

  • Caption contains

3) Configure your filter values

  • Set either field from All to your specific values

  • Add one or more identifiers you want to include

  • Click Save
