What this is

TikTok Shop is treated as a new message type inside TikTok in BrandBastion.

Use it to:

  • Route buyer questions to the right CX teammate.

  • Resolve “where’s my order?” faster with order context in-thread.

  • Reply without switching back to TikTok Seller Center.


Connect TikTok Shop to BrandBastion

Reach out to your CSM to activate the integration and then go to Assets > Add Assets > TikTok Shop

📌 Note: If you manage multiple shops, each shop’s conversations are kept separate by Shop ID.


Find and filter TikTok Shop conversations

  1. Go to Engage in BrandBastion.

  2. Open Message Type filters.

  3. Under Owned Private, select TikTok Shop Messages.

Open the TikTok Shop thread view

  1. Click a conversation from the filtered list.

  2. In the conversation view, select TikTok shop.

Result: you’ll see the full message thread, including rich content like media and commerce cards.


What content is supported in TikTok Shop threads

TikTok Shop conversations can include rich inbound content. BrandBastion supports these types end-to-end (store + render):

  • Text

  • Image

  • Video

  • Emoji

  • Product cards

  • Order cards


Product cards (inbound)

When a buyer sends a Product Card, BrandBastion renders a TikTok Shop Product card in the thread and stores the underlying payload.

The card can include:

  • Product image thumbnail

  • Product title

  • Brand name

  • Price (currency + sale price)

  • Product ID

  • Optional attribute chips, when present:

    • Status (example: seller deactivated)

    • Inventory quantity

    • Backorder units

    • Variant attributes (example: color: red)

Order cards (inbound)

When a buyer sends an Order Card, BrandBastion renders a TikTok Shop Order card in the thread and stores the underlying payload.

Behavior and common fields:

  • If a buyer includes a message like “Please ship asap!”, it appears just before the order card.

  • The order card can include:

    • Order status badge

    • Order ID

    • Order date / created time

    • Items ordered list (product, variant/SKU, quantity, price, thumbnails)

    • Shipping and fulfillment (delivery option, provider, tracking number)

    • Payment and refunds (payment method)

    • Order summary (subtotal, shipping, total)
